New Delhi: Delhi's Aam Aadmi Party MLAs will be donating Rs 20 lakh each for relief and rescue operations in flood-ravaged Jammu and Kashmir.
The party has decided that all its MLAs will collectively contribute Rs 5.40 crore in the Kashmir relief fund.

AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal confirmed this on Twitter, and wrote: "All AAP MLAs to donate Rs 20 lakh each for Kashmir flood relief from their MLA funds."
"A decision was taken to donate money for the relief operations in Jammu and Kashmir at a meeting of AAP MLAs," senior party leader Manish Sisodia said.
"The guidelines issued for MLAs in 2012 allow each member to request for releasing upto Rs 35 lakh every year for providing relief to the victims of natural disasters and natural calamities, from their MLA Local Area Development Scheme," an AAP leader said.
